Challenge

Collective Digital Studio distributes hundreds of YouTube channels of original content created by influencers and media makers. TF helped them plant a flag in the NewFronts as well as make connections with marketers. After being acquired by the German network Studio71 in late 2015, CDS rebranded as Studio71 and challenged us for a second year to re-introduce their organization to brands and advertisers. With so many YouTube channels and so much to present, the challenge was to design a show that  balanced all their talent with marketing, advertising and sales messaging.

Solution

We helped to create targeted messaging for an audience of 500 marketers, complete with live theatrical experiences, talent interruptions, singers embedded in the audience, and numerous videos.  An overnight load in meant all talent rehearsals on set had to be done the morning of the presentation, so preparation was key. Lots of on site revisions put everyone on their best game and lent a spontaneous feel to the performances.

The programs feature large numbers of their talent including Rett & Link, Lilly Singh, Grace & Mamrie, Flula, Roman Atwood, Shonduras, and Charlie Todd along with their advertising and marketing leads, ensuring clear avenues for all marketing and sales communications.
