Leading International Cosmetics Company Sales Meeting 2020

Challenge

The rapidly changing environment around COVID 19 travel conditions forced the cancellation of a long planned in-person event in Florida for the sales team. Working in collaboration with their agency, TF designed a virtual solution that allowed the event to proceed. But three full days of presentations had to be transformed into broadcast-friendly programming that allowed the entire sales team to participate from home. And they had to be stylish and engaging in a way that reflected each brand’s distinct personality.

Solution

We identified a broadcast studio in walking distance to their office that allowed for social distancing for presenters and crew alike. The programming was divided into manageable segments that allowed home viewers to maintain their attention and allow time to focus on daily work responsibilities at allocated times every day. Questions were managed through Slido,and included live executive team Q&A rounds with the entire audience. Programming was designed to encourage participation both virtually and with product sample packs sent to each participant (along some fun goodies and snacks) to ramp up engagement. And the overall production design was built around a flexible set with heavy emphasis on live electronic graphics. And the studio allowed for broadcast-style in-lens teleprompting with multiple camera angles customized for each presentation. The result was a sleek, fun and fast-paced series of broadcasts customized for each brand. Audience surveys showed that they loved the interaction and that they showed excellent information retention. Mission accomplished!
